SHIZUKA SDM is an acoustic panel developed by experienced recording/mastering engineers and musicians in the field, with field degrees as advisors, and was born out of the professional music production scene, maximizing sound insulation/sound absorption characteristics.
While having the same sound absorption properties as the SHIZUKA Stillness Panel, the panel can be folded in two for storage in limited spaces such as cars. The panel is very lightweight and can stand on its own without any installation or modification with screws, making it suitable for use at various sites.
With a sound absorption rate of 90% or higher in the frequency band of 500㎐ or higher, it can overwhelmingly reduce unwanted reflected sound and echoes on site, making it easy to construct temporary announcement booths and the like.
In audio rooms, placing the SDM behind the speakers reduces reflections from the walls, allowing you to enjoy the original sound of the speakers. In a home recording room, placing a total of about 4 SDMs in front, behind, left, and right will reduce reverberation, and since they are lightweight and can be easily moved, they can be used to create the recording space of your choice.
