Product Features:
Bred and fattened in the Chiya area of Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, Chiya beef is descended from the Takenotani vine, which is said to be the root of the oldest Wagyu beef in Japan.
The beef is moderately sinewy, and has a soft texture and aroma created by high levels of high-quality amino acids and oleic acid (unsaturated fatty acid), which are the source of its delicious flavor.
We will deliver steak cuts of "Tokusen Chiya Beef" sirloin and rib roast, which are rated A4 or higher by the Meat Grading Association of Japan. A recipe on how to cook the steaks is included.
Precautions for use:
Heat thoroughly to the center before serving. After thawing, store in the refrigerator and serve on the same day. Production history information can be found at the following website.
